LOTS of cranes at Jasper-Pulaski....the big gathering ground during fall migration. Took the parents there on Friday night. Too bad I couldn't record the noise of the birds! It was cool
Great pics. I heard the cranes at ICF recently. Very unusual sound. Kind of like a lot of little kids' bike horns - far off in the distance. Not at all like the multitudes of boring Canada Geese.
